Life is not always easy. The challenges you experience can result in stress that affects your physical health and mental-emotional wellbeing. You may develop sleep disturbances, feel anxious, hopeless or depressed, and your energy to carry out your tasks and engage in leisure activities may be low. Stress impacts your digestion and suppresses your immune system; over longer periods, it can lead or contribute to chronic diseases, including heart failure. It really takes the joy out of life.

Some people cope with stress better than others, but we all can benefit from making changes to our lifestyle that help create more balance and allow us to bounce back and feel our best.

Where to start? That’s often the hardest question to answer because you are already busy with work, family, social obligations, or just plain survival. We use a health and wellness coaching approach to help you reach deep inside and identify your goals and resources. Some of the steps you choose will be easy to implement, while others may take more time and effort. You will learn to leverage your strengths to pursue the goals you deem important.

At the heart of health and wellness coaching is the art of creating behavioral change, together. You are in the driver’s seat and your coach helps you figure out what’s important to you and how to facilitate change. Your coach will be your sounding board and accountability buddy, and may also help you locate additional information or resources you need.
